Mezza Luna: Hot Italian Food for the Fall

Eat well without traveling far.

The fall is here and winter is fast approaching. It's getting cold. What you need and want is piping hot food that fills you to the brim and warms you up--what some call it comfort food. Others say it like it is: Italian food.

Mezza Luna will help you get rid of those stereotypical thoughts that Italian food is just pasta and pizza. In addition to those staples of Italian cuisine, Mezza Luna also does cold and hot subs, wraps, rolls, chicken and veal entrees, soups, salads, baked dishes, and fresh seafood.

Favorites include rigatoni il giardino, penne arrablata, baked manicotti, garlic shrimp al grillo, stuffed Talapia, Waldorf salad, boss wrap, Antipasto Napolitano, trio parmigiana and meatball parm rolls.

For pizza, try the chicken buffalo pie, thin Sicilian margherita pie or any of the pan pizzas. If you're counting calories check out their whole wheat and reduced fat choices: bowties rosina, low fat chicken Parmigiana, chicken and scallops amalfi or salmon arrosta.
