A Cliffwood man was arrested for in Aberdeen Township on Friday, May 11.

A Bradley Beach man and a Howell woman were in Aberdeen Township, Wall Township Lt. Walter Pomphrey said.

7) Matawan Man Arrested for Alleged Possession, Intent to Distribute Heroin

A Matawan man was charged by Aberdeen Township Police with possession of and intent to distribute heroin on Friday, May 4. 

6) Affordable Housing Units Available in Aberdeen

Aberdeen Township announced on Route 34 near the border of Marlboro. The eight units are part of The Villages at Aberdeen, a development that is currently being built by C&M Associates.

The Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District will welcome a new principal and assistant principal for the 2012-13 academic year.

4) Overturned Car on Garden State Parkway in Aberdeen Slows Northbound Traffic

A one vehicle accident slightly after 2 p.m. on Monday, May 21 on the Garden State Parkway slowed traffic in the local northbound lanes near exit 117 in Aberdeen. The car on the guard rail between the local and express lanes. 

3) Aberdeen PD Searching for Burlgar Who Entered Occupied Home

The Aberdeen Township Police Department is that took place in the early morning hours of May 14 while the resident was sleeping.

2) Firefighters Douse Huge Fire at Buhler Car Dealership on Route 35 in Hazlet

Firefighters were that was first reported by Hazlet Police at 5:15 a.m. on May 26. Tall flames could be seen in the rear of the building around 5:30 a.m. Huge clouds of black smoke drifted over the highway towards Keyport.

1) Five Alarm Fire in Cheesequake Village Destroys Three Condos

A fire destroyed at least three condo units in a 55 and older community just outside Cheesequake State Park in Old Bridge Township on May 3. The surrounding units in Cheesequake Village
