Flash Flood Warning in Effect Tonight, Aug. 18
The National Weather Service issued the warning for tonight and tomorrow
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Monmouth County for tonight, Aug. 18. The warning will remain in effect until the late evening tomorrow, Aug. 19.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to produce one half to one inch of rain, with localized amounts of up to two to four inches possible, the warning said.
Grounds may already be saturated due to the recent storms, making flooding more likely.
