WEEKEND WEATHER REPORT

If you have time off this weekend, it seems that the best days to head to the shore for some sunshine are Friday and Saturday. However, the chance of rain on Sunday and Monday is low.

Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 61 degrees.

Saturday is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 82 degrees with a calm, south wind between 6 and 9 mph. There is a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday evening, with new rainfall amounts predicted to be less than a tenth of an inch.

Sunday is forecast to be partly sunny with a high near 85 degrees, however there is a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunday evening there is a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms with a low around 70 degrees.

Labor Day is forecast to be mostly cloudy with a high near 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms that should pass by the evening. Monday night there will be a low near 50 degrees.
