Cub Scout Pack 66 Hosts 32nd Annual Pinewood Derby
Cheers, laughter and excitement glowed from the Matawan Community Center
Cub Scout Pack 66 hosted the 32nd Annual Pinewood Derby at the Matawan Municipal Community Center Tuesday night.
"Pinewood Derby is an experience for the scouts and their families, where they build a car together. They have to carve it, paint it, and then they all come together as a pack and race them. And they love it," said Lisa Harrington, Webelos Den 5 Pack Leader.
About 145 pack members participated in the derby, which Aberdeen Mayor Fred Tagliarini and Matawan Mayor Paul Buccellato guest judged. Here are the results:
