Agenda: Aberdeen Planning Board

The Aberdeen Planning Board will meet Wednesday, Jan. 16 to discuss two applications.

The Aberdeen Township Planning Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. at town hall to hold their reorganization meeting before discussing several applications, according to the agenda.

One application was made by Pioneer Commodities USA, LLC, a renter at the old factory on Cliffwood Avenue which is now owned by Somerset Anchor. The company is requesting to store 10,500 pallets at a maximum height of 15 feet. The area is designated for warehouse use in the Redevelopment Zone, according to the agenda.

Concerns have been risen at previous meetings that the outdoor pile of used pallots could pose a safety risk, documents at the Planning/Zoning Office show.

This meeting is open to the public. The agenda is attached to this article below the photo of town hall. Copies of the agenda will also be available at the meeting.

Isn't that property supposed to get developed very soon? I'm waiting so many years for help with my sewers so to the neighbors of that factory I say don't hold your breath. Waiting for sewers, senior housing, beachfront, and so much more from our honest government would be a waste of time. You may as well as hope and pray for honest government. That will happen just after hell freezes over. All we can hope for is a no stone unturned probing investigation going back ten years. Going back to just before that cockroach Norman Kauff took over and ruined this community. Our Governor Christopher J. Christie says the root of all corruption starts at the town level. Aberdeen should be the town on the corruption poster for New Jersey. I pray every day that it happens as it cannot happen soon enough.

I just read over tonight's topics and it seems that Aberdeen may be going into the development of "town owned property" business? The list shows that a property owner listed as Aberdeen Township is looking to subdivide a piece of property into 3 lots listed under SD 12-303 located at the intersection of Lower Main St. and Gaston St.? I don't have any idea what this is or why Aberdeen would do such a thing. I think someone needs to look into this before some connected developer friendly or related to a town official gets this property on the cheap. But that would be against the law wouldn't it? I say it again Aberdeen needs to be investigated from the top on down and it is long overdue.
