Aberdeen Says JCP&L Estimates Full Restoration by Nov. 10

Township shares several bits of information through emergency notification service.

Aberdeen Township can expect full restoration by Saturday, Nov. 10, according to an emergency notification alert issued by Police Chief John Powers. The estimated date for full restoration was provided to the township by JCP&L.

Residents who need to charge their devices are encouraged to visit the ATT Charging Station which has been established at Cliffwood Firehouse on Angel Street in Cliffwood. It will be open until 8 p.m. tonight.

Residents who would like a place to warm up are encouraged to visit Strathmore Elementary School, which is operating as a warming station Tuesday, Nov. 6 and Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Strathmore School is located on Church Street.

The township will also hold an informational meeting for residents on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Aberdeen Township Municipal Building.
