Hey, What Happened to Kat Shack in Matawan?

The local bar recently announced that they have shut their doors for an undetermined about of time.

Kat Shack Bar & Grill will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time, according to a post Monday on the Main Street bar's Facebook page.

The announcement came only two days after the establishment told Facebook fans they would be closed for the weekend. Over 25 people commented on the status, with the majority asking why Kat Shack closed their doors and when they plan to reopen. So far, their questions have gone unanswered.

Kat Shack is a popular local bar that features regular live music, drink specials and brick oven pizza on the edge of downtown Matawan.
