The sprayground at Dorbrook Park is one of the most fabulous places in all of Monmouth County for kids, and it's free. This water-enhanced playground is a great place to be cool and play with water. This facility is open seven days a week from mid-May to mid-September. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to one hour prior to posted park closing. Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday hours are from 10 a.m. to one hour prior to posted park closing. The facility provides refreshment for park visitors.

120 County Road 522, Manalapan

On Mondays and Thursdays, the Recreation Arts and Crafts program will be hosting nighttime arts and crafts classes for children ages four to 10 at 6:30 p.m. The classes are held outdoors at the Kuschick Pavillion and it is a fun night for all. Michael J. Tighe Park, 65 Georgia Road, Freehold

The skate park at Michael J. Tighe Park is now open. Remember, all skate park participants must now carry a photo ID showing all paperwork, including a waiver, which should be on file with the Freehold Township Recreation Department.

The skate park is open from Monday through Friday, from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
