Celebrate Livoti's Old World Market's Second Anniversary

The local shop will thank the community for their support with a special event

Two years ago, the Livoti family decided to pack up their Staten Island store and open their doors in the Strathmore Shopping Plaza in Aberdeen.

will celebrate this milestone with a party on Saturday, May 26 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. There will be special promotions inside the store, along with free food, delicious treats and a live band.

Ali said the event is both a celebration and a 'Thank You' to their customers.

"The community has really opened their arms to us and welcomed us," said Mike Ali, the general manager of Livoti's and owner John Livoti's son-in-law.

Livoti's offers regular groceries, pre-prepared meals, ready-to-cook meals, fresh cheeses, a full deli and fresh baked goods. The store is also well-known for its catering.
