Aberdeen Officials Welcome Basement Service Company to Town

Construction began in the summer of 2012

Aberdeen officials and the township's Economic Business Council welcomed Quality 1st Basement Systems to the former 84 Lumber site last week. 

The company, which provides waterproofing and foundation repair services, relocated to Aberdeen's Cliffwood section from Perth Amboy, according to a news release. The 10,000 square-foot facility, located at 359 Route 35 South, will employ 100.

Onwer and President Tom Roman was joined for a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Jan. 17 by Mayor Fred Tagliarini, Deputy Mayor Margaret Montone and EBC members Melanie Straniero of Flowers by Melanie and Eugene DeMarco of DeMarco’s Catering and Old World Deli, the township said.
