Male and Female Canary's?

We receive many requests for canary's in pairs because people think they will be lonely if kept by themselves. The truth is; a person would be better off with one, unless they wish to get into breeding. they might have a successful experience, but that may be the only one they have. The birds will become companions and not have a fertile clutch in the future. One the other problems is that the female with constant exposure to the male can become egg bound and may expire as a result of the egg breaking inside the egg canal.
