Freshman Orientation Quickly Approaching for Matawan Regional High School

The newest Matawan Regional High School students will start Freshman Academy at the end of August.

The Class of 2017 will get a chance to experience Matawan Regional High School during a freshman orientation held on Aug. 28 and Aug. 29.

This orientation will mark the third year of Freshman Academy. Freshman Academy is a year long program that involves breaking the class into three teams. Each team has specific teachers for each subject, creating a small interdisciplinary community to help students and create an environment for success.

The incoming juniors were the first class to experience Freshman Academy when they entered high school in 2011.
