Creating Super Coasters

In this engineering challenge, teens will create a series of games involving a ball rolling through a series of twists and turns in the style of an amusement park ride. Teens will be given flexible pipe insulation, marbles, and additional materials to construct their track. During this process, teens will pay attention to the forces of motion and anticipate how the ball will behave in various track shapes and configurations.
