South Aberdeen EMS Seeking Volunteers for Search & Rescue Team

Bayshore Search & Rescue will service central New Jersey for ground rescues and other emergencies. Classes will be held in Aberdeen.

South Aberdeen EMS is searching for volunteers for their newly established Bayshore Search and Rescue Team.

The search and rescue team was established by South Aberdeen EMS after the volunteer organization realized there was no organized search and rescue team in the Central New Jersey area.

Volunteers will be trained how to stay alive in a wilderness environment with or without equipment during all seasons and on various terrains. They will also be trained how to extract a patient from a wilderness environment, proper MEDEVAC procedures and how to conduct low angle rescues and swift water rescues.
