Singer Rosemary Conte Featured at Count Basie Theater's Sinatra Holiday Gala

The annual Sinatra holiday bash with Joe Muccioli's 18 pc. jazz orchestra featured Matawan resident Rosemary Conte. Pictured below the NJ music legend dedicates "I'll Be Home for Christmas" ...if only in my dreams... to everyone in the audience who has a loved one in the military. The song was written during WW2 from the perspective of a soldier who couldn't be home for Christmas. Miss Conte is a long-time jazz/pop performer, and voice teacher with a blog on this Patch site.
