See What You Are Missing!

Did you miss Bruce Crawford, Director of Rutgers Gardens, speak at the Middletown Library on the topic of Hydrangeas?  Did you not come to the meeting at Middletown Art Center to learn about Ikebana with Patricia Kettenring?

Did you miss getting some great plants at the Garden Club RFD Annual Plant Sale at the Little Red School House, across the street from Thompson Middle School, just before Mother’s Day and get good gardening advice while you were there?

Did you  miss knowing that gardening is a great way to tone up, burn calories and bury your stress underground?  So says James A. Peterson, Ph.D., columnist for the American College of Sports Medicine’s Health & Fitness Journal. If you get involved in working out in your garden,  it can be as good as a gym!
