Monday, March 26
Board of Education Meeting
The Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday at Cambridge Park School. According to the March 26 agenda, the board will hold a public hearing on the 2012-13 budget and will vote on whether or not to increase the tuition for Cambridge Park Preschool School.
Matawan Historical Society Meeting
The Matawan Historical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Burrowes' Mansion. Author John Zinn will be discussing his latest book "The Mutinous Regiment - the 33rd New Jersey in the Civil War," with a focus on the challenges of long distance Civil War relationships based, in part, on the letters of Matawan resident William Lloyd, a sergeant with the 33rd New Jersey. Light refreshments will be served after the program.

Matawan-Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce Business Expo
The Matawan-Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its eleventh annual Business Expo this year at St. Clement. Great Entertainment from chamber member Kenny Simmons will be on tap to keep the excitement pumping. Come on down and meet several local businesses owners and professionals. Admission is free and a free light buffet will be served.

Rose's Fund for Animals Spa Night
Rose's Fund for Animals will be having a spa night fundraiser at Mosaic Spa in Morganville on Wednesday at 6 p.m. It is a great night out with food, raffles and $5 spa services.
Adult English as a Second Language Classes
Improve your daily English conversational skills at the Matawan Aberdeen Public Library on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Beginner, intermediate and advanced ESL level speakers welcome. Sweeney's Fish & Chips Night
Join the Knights of Columbus for their annual Lent Fish & Chips on Friday at 5 p.m. for various salads, soda, cake and coffee. Price is $15.00 per person and $5.00 for children. Proceeds go toward funding various charities in the Bayshore area.
