Want to Welcome Puppy Emily into Your Home?
Castle of Dreams is looking to find homes for several puppies and dogs this winter.
Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue (CODAR) is an Aberdeen-based, non-profit canine rescue group that takes in dogs from high-kill shelters and puppy mills along the east coast and works to find them any necessary medical attention, foster care and a forever home.
This week CODAR has sent Patch five dogs looking for a permanent, loving home. Information on each dog is included in the photo caption as well as listed below. If you are interested in adopting any of the animals in the slideshow, fill out the application online at www.castle-of-dreams.com.
Corona, a Chihuahua mix, is approximately 8 years old. She's a little shy at first but Miss Corona warms up fairly quickly. She just arrived in New Jersey at the end of August and is settling into her foster home while she awaits her forever home. Do you have room in your heart for this sweet girl that came from a hoarder situation? She has had a hard life her first 8 years, so she deserves the rest of her years to be loved and pampered forever.
Maverick is a 5-year-old Chow mix. He is housetrained, does not chew things that are not his toys and has not had any accidencts in the house (he will and can hold it to go outside.) He is pretty easy to take care of. He loves to be pet and will find any opportunity to lay his head on your leg and nuzzle in. He also loves to play in the yard. Maverick would be great in a home where there is a yard for him to run. He has so much life and love in him. He is very mellow.
Linus is a Chihuahua who flew to New Jersey from California to find his forever home. He's about one-year-old, sweet and playful. He's neutered, house trained and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Princess is a three month old pup that looks like a Shepherd mix. She’s playful and loving and came all the way from South Carolina to find a home and family to love in New Jersey.
Emily, a hound mix, was the runt of the litter. Just a puppy, Emily came all the way from a high kill shelter in the south and is looking for a forever home to call her own. She has a very sweet and cuddly personality.
Zoey is about 3 years old and a pure bred Shepherd. She is very high energy and is one of those breeds that needs a JOB. She loves the outdoors and does get along with most dogs. She is very smart and completely housebroken.
