The National Weather Service has upgraded the coastal flood watch to a coastal flood warning, as of Friday morning. This warning is in addition to the winter storm warning and hazardous weather outlook already issued for the Matawan-Aberdeen area.

New Jersey State Police have identified a West Orange man as the victim of a fatal accident on the southbound express lanes of the Garden State Parkway on Friday.
