they keep saying aberdeen - ISNT CLIFFWOOD BEACH PART OF ABERDEEN - there are a few areas with nothingand no info - especially people behind Ross field in off Arbordale and Laurelhurst - down lines and poles all over- what about them?

1. Tree Removal Help: Southern Baptist Disaster Assistance, "Yard by Yard" is in the area. Operating out of New Monmouth Baptist Church, Middletown, NJ - Phone 732-671-5998 and ask for the Disaster people. They will cut down trees (they have big trucks) and do muck out. Group of 100 out of Oklahoma there til the 16th. They worked at several homes and a church in Cliffwood Beach (including my home).

2. Muck out help. LDS has 400 volunteers ready to muck out, remove sheet rock and insulation and carpets and ready houses for professional work. Contact number is 347-709-0438 (NJ VOAD), resident leaves name, address and cell # and work needed. They will work central NJ from Cliffwood Beach/Keyport area down to Toms River, NJ.

I wish I had seen this sooner. How many actually knew about this and showed up?

I would have liked to know why pretty much ALL communication from the local governing bodies (I'm signed up for reverse 911 alerts from Aberdeen and Matawan, and for some reason was receiving Old Bridge alerts as well) had stopped by Tuesday afternoon. No updates after that.
