Prosecutors: Matawan Man Failed to Register as Sex Offender
Howard Anderson Lee indicted by a grand jury.
A Matawan man is accused of failing to register as a sex offender.
A Monmouth County grand jury indicted Howard Anderson Lee, 57, of Main Street, on Wednesday on a fourth-degree charge of register his sex offender status with authorities.
According to the indictment, Anderson Lee resided in Matawan beginning in June 2012. The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office arrested and charged Anderson Lee on Sept. 17.
Anderson Lee was convicted of criminal sexual contact in Chaves County, N.M. in September 2005.
