New Jersey Devils Players to Visit Aberdeen

Friday, Feb. 15
This class teaches body awareness and relaxation through posing and games. All classes are for school-aged children and are taught in a non-competitive environment that allows children to have fun while they are relaxing.
The Friday Nite Specials cast performs at the Strathmore Art Cinema every Friday night at midnight. Drop in for a unique experience blending movie, live cast and audience participation.
Saturday, Feb. 16
Aberdeen Township will hold their third and final budget hearing on Saturday morning at the Aberdeen Township Municipal Building.
All children in grades K-8 are invited to create meaningful art for a traveling exhibit that will reflect the devastation felt by Sandy. Visit the Monmouth County Library's Eastern Branch in Shrewsbury on Saturday to make art with licensed counselors, art therapists and art teachers. An RSVP is required.
Bring your friends to Temple Shalom for a fun-filled social event. It will be song request time all night long with a jukebox featuring your favorite hits at the Dance Party sponsored by Temple Shalom's Brotherhood and Sisterhood. Tickets are $20 per couple in advance and $25 at the door. Singles are welcome, too, at half those prices.
Arts Healing Arts, Inc. is a non-profit created to help ease the distress of children in areas hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy, starting with kids in Union Beach and surrounding communities. The program is called Saturday Arts and will be held at the Union Beach Library on Saturdays from 1:30-3:30. Pre-registration is required for this free event as space is limited.

Sunday, Feb. 17
It's time to start talking Tour de Cure 2013. For those who don't know, the Tour de Cure is an annual event held at three seperate locations in New Jersey. This year's Jersey Shore Tour de Cure will be held in Asbury Park in September. It's an oppurtunity for individuals to come together and join in the fight to Stop Diabetes.
New Jersey Devils center Stephen Gionta and defenseman Anton Volchenkov will appear at Prime 34 Lounge in Aberdeen, N.J., on Sunday, February 17 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
