Neptune Woman Indicted on Charges She Stole ATM Card in Aberdeen
A Monmouth County Grand Jury handed up the indictment Tuesday
A Monmouth County Grand Jury voted to indict a Neptune woman on charges that she stole an ATM card in Aberdeen Township and then used it at several locations.
Investigators say that Kristen Russo, 58, between Aug. 1 and Nov. 25, 2011, stole a Bank of America ATM card/credit card and removed $500 from the victim's bank account. Russo, according to the indictment, also allegedly used the ATM card at a dentist's office and at an inn.
She is charged with theft of movable property and fraudulant use of a credit card.
Both are third degree crimes.
An indictment does not indicate a conviction, only that the charges may be brought to trial.
