Matawan Council to Vote on Transfer of Liquor License

The Matawan Council will meet on Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m.

 

The Matawan Borough Council will vote on a resolution transferring a liquore license from Gamma Enterprises to MJ's of Matawan LLC, according to the council's March 5 meeting agenda. 

The council is also expected to discuss a possible ordinance regarding standby generators in the borough as well as business usage in the downtown preservation district. 

A number of ordinances are also on the agenda as old business, including a series of changes establishing a formal forestry program in the borough and a joint Community Emergency Response Team with Aberdeen. 

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Matawan Municipal Community Center and is open to the public.

The Buttonwood was bought by MJ's they want to transfer the license.
