Matawan-Aberdeen Schools Closed Thursday and Friday

Parents will be notified on Sunday, Nov. 4 whether or not school will reopen on Monday.

 

Schools in Matawan and Aberdeen will remain closed Thursday, Nov. 1 and Friday, Nov. 2 due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy, according to a post on the Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District's website.

All scheduld after-school and evening activities are postponed.

On Sunday, Nov. 4, the district will reevaluate the status of the schools as well as the conditions of local roads. Parents will be notified at that time whether additional school closings are necessary.

Additional school closing information can be found on the district website or on Huskievision, which is channel 15 on Cablevision and channel 45 on Verizon Fios.
