Fiona is a 10-month-old Catahoula mix. She’s a big girl packed full of energy, with lots of love to share with her perfect family. While Fiona loves everyone, she would do best in a home without cats as she sometimes thinks they are her toys.

Three female lab-shepherd puppies and their mom, Ms. Brady, were rescued from a gas shelter in West Virginia. The puppies are about 12 weeks old and each are looking for a place to call home.
Lilly is a 4-year-old Beagle-Lab mix. Weighing in at 40 pounds, she’s an all around wonderful girl. She is great with people, very obedient and has excellent manners. She is also great with older children. She is house broken and crate trained. Lilly loves to run and play, and would love a yard to run around in. She also enjoys walking on a leash. Lilly doesn’t enjoy, however, sharing her toys or food and would most likely do best in a home where she would be the only pet.
Fern is a shepherd/lab mix who weighs about 40 pounds and is about 10 months old. A little shy at first, Fern loves to cuddle once she gets to know you. She is housebroken and crate trained. Fern was saved from a high kill shelter in Georgia. Won’t you please open your heart and home to sweet Fern?

Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue (CODAR) is an Aberdeen-based, non-profit canine rescue group that takes in dogs from high-kill shelters and puppy mills along the east coast and works to find them any necessary medical attention, foster care and a forever home.

This week CODAR has sent Patch five dogs looking for a permanent, loving home. If you are interested in adopting any of the animals in the slideshow, fill out the application online at www.castle-of-dreams.com.
