Labor Day will be the last day to paddle around Lake Lefferts in Matawan.
Canoe rentals will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 3.
It costs $15 per hour to rent a canoe and life vests are available on site. Free parking is available in the gravel lot at the intersection of Ravine Drive and Matawan Avenue and use the crosswalk to access the lake.
The rental center has been open every Saturday and Sunday since Memorial Day.
