A Freehold Regional High School District (FRHSD) school bus was rear-ended by a car early Tuesday morning on Route 79 near the student parking lot of Freehold High School.

According to Freehold Borough police, the accident occurred at approximately 7:06 a.m. and caused about a 20 minute delay to travelers on Broadway. A press released issued by the FRHSD stated that a total of 37 Freehold High School students were on the bus when it was hit.

Nakell Williams, FRHSD Communication and District Project coordinator, explained that eight students on the bus were transported to CentraState Medical Center after the accident. Six of those students have been discharged. The remaining two students were receiving shoulder and ankle x-rays.

The press release explained that both the driver and passenger of the car that rear-ended the bus are Manalapan High School students. They were both unharmed after the accident.

Freehold Borough Police Chief Glen Roberts stated that the accident was caused by a driving misjudgment. Roberts explained that the driver saw the bus turning into the school, but didn't get their timing right and ended up rear-ending the bus.

Please explain what "ohhh snap gah" means? Is that an example of what you're being taught in English class?

There's a huge difference between using slang and being illiterate in written expression. Looks like you missed the boat.

Passed a terrible 5-car accident on 520 this morning. I'm sorry, but I drive on the road to work every day with high school kids and kids going to Brookdale. They tailgate, text and talk on their phones. Distance saves lives. Not saying adults aren't guilty of the same thing, but the majority are young drivers who are guilty of this. Thank God no one was seriously hurt in yesterday's accident. Not sure I can say the same about the one I witnessed this morning. Stop thinking it can't happen to you. Had the Manalapan students left enough distance between their car and the bus in front of them, this would never have happened.

This conversation regarding "outsiders" is irrelevant. Take it elsewhere.
