Fiona
Fiona is an approximately 10-month-old Catahoula mix. She's adorable, full of love, and looking for her "forever" home. While Fiona loves everyone, she would do best in a home without cats as she sometimes thinks they are her toys. What a face! Castle of Dreams

Daisy is a small adult beagle just a little on the chubby side. She was rescued from a sanctuary that went under. She was initially used as a breeding dog, but once she was no longer able to do that, she was dumped. She is very sweet and mellow, loves attention and loves just being with other dogs and people. She gets along with other animals and is a pleasure to be around.

Kahlua is a 3-year-old long coat English Cream Dachshund male. He is the sweetest boy ever and loves to sit on a warm lap and be loved all day. He is great with other dogs and cats and loves kids as well.
Charlie Daniels is a 6-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix. He is up-to-date on shots and neutered. He plays very well with other dogs . He gets along with cats and older children. He's about 19 pounds, but is convinced he is a lap dog. He's such a lovable dog. We don’t recommend him with young children as he does get jealous for his owners attention. Please find it in your heart to adopt this loveable little guy!
Brady is a 45 pound Shepherd mix with three blonde pups. She's about 2.5 years old and very social. She knows sit and shake, and loves people. Brady is a great momma dog rescued from a kill shelter in West Virginia.
Olivia about one-year-old. She's a yellow lab mix who was rescued by a family traveling on 95N through South Carolina. Olivia was running on the side of the busy highway. Afraid she was going to get hit by a car, they caught her and called the police, but were told that there was no animal control in the area, and she'd be euthanized at a shelter so the police were going to release her at the rest stop. As any good animal loving family of a dog and two cats of their own, they loaded her in their car and contacted one of our volunteers. We checked Craigslist and several lost dog sites and could not find anyone looking for this sweet girl. When she was found she was very thin, yet friendly and seems to like children and other dogs. As soon as she arrived, we took her to our vet, who gave her a clean bill of health and her vaccinations. She is already spayed and tested negative for heartworm.

Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue (CODAR) is an Aberdeen-based, non-profit canine rescue group that takes in dogs from high-kill shelters and puppy mills along the east coast and works to find them any necessary medical attention, foster care and a forever home.

This week CODAR has sent Patch six dogs looking for a permanent, loving home. If you are interested in adopting any of the animals in the slideshow, fill out the application online at www.castle-of-dreams.com.
