Friends can be found in unlikely places, Steve Hartman discovered in a recent CBS segment of "On the Road."

In the two-minute piece, Hartman explores the relationship that blossomed between 22-year-old Allison Eyres and 90-year-old Jack Morris when the young blonde began asking the WWII veteran to share his war stories. 

When tragedy struck Morris, the bonds of friendship grew stronger as Eyres worked to restore his happiness.
