Aberdeen OEM: No Water Alerts Issued At This Time

Rumors of a 'water shutdown' are false, Aberdeen Office of Emergency Management says.

 

The Aberdeen Office of Emergency Management has recieved numerous calls today about an alleged water shutdown, according to OEM Coordinator John Powers.

Powers said at this time there are no water shutdowns or water alerts and that there have been none issued for the area by the Monmouth County OEM.

There are people in sections of matatwan who can not use their water. People whbo ejector pits for their sewage can not use water because the pits are electric. If they use water the pits will force the sewage back into thbeir homes.
