Aberdeen Issues Travel Ban for Monday Evening

All non-emergency drivers will be banned from township roads.

 

The Aberdeen Office of Emergency Management issued a travel ban starting at 6 p.m. Monday via their CodeRed emergency notification system.

The travel ban will be enforced on all township streets for all non-emergency personnel until further notice. Until it is lifted, residents are asked to stay sheltered inside their homes.

Travel bans were also issued in Matawan and Keyport.
