Uncle Louie G Grand Opening to Benefit The Community YMCA

As part of their Grand Opening on Sunday, August 5, Uncle Louie G, in historic Keyport, will help support The Community YMCA. Ten percent of all sales between 3- 8 p.m. at the shop’s Grand Opening event will directly support the Y’s Strong Kids Campaign, which helps kids and families in need of Y programs and services.

“Uncle Louie G is proud to support The Community YMCA and their efforts to make a difference in the lives of children here in Keyport and throughout Monmouth County,” said John Haley, co-owner of Uncle Louie G.

In addition to tasty Italian ice and gourmet ice cream, the Grand Opening will feature music and entertainment at the Front Street Mini-Park, directly across from Uncle Louie G.

Uncle Louie G is known for their homemade Italian Ices and Ice Cream that originated in Brooklyn, NY and has grown to over 30 locations throughout the East Coast. The full-service Italian ice and ice cream shop features 46 great flavors of gourmet Italian ice and 33 excellent flavors of gourmet ice cream.

As a non-profit charitable organization, the Y is grateful for support from Uncle Louie G and other businesses and individuals whose generosity makes it possible for the Y to provide over $1 million annually in assistance to 3,000 local children and families through the Strong Kids Campaign.
