Temple Shalom is excited to announce a new monthly Jewish Learning Experience for K-1 students. The new program called Camp Shalom will meet once per month from September - April. Kindergarten-1st graders will learn in a camp atmosphere that will feature interactive, age appropriate learning about Torah stories, conversational Hebrew, social action, holidays & festivals and more.
We recognize that today’s young families have to make difficult financial and scheduling decisions. Temple Shalom wants families to have affordable and realistic ways to connect their children to a Jewish community and to know that our doors are open to them. We want our students to believe that Jewish learning can be both informative and fun. Temple membership is not required to enroll in Camp Shalom. We believe that parents will want their child’s first connection to Jewish learning to be at Camp Shalom.
